Polar Bears Knock Off Blues at The Igloo
Billings picked up a win at The Igloo, bumping off the Barton Springs Blues, 6-2. Pitcher Michael MacGregor was a major reason the Polar Bears emerged victorious. MacGregor, the winner, moves to 2-1. He threw 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 2 walks. With the win, Billings raised its record to 11-10.

The Polar Bears grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. With no one out, Karst Haazens hit a 2-run home run off Carlos Gómez, putting Billings in front, 3-0. For Haazens, it was his 7th home run of the season.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson. "Our pregame was pretty good."
