Blues Pick Up 4-3 Road Win Over Billings
|
The Igloo was the site of a competitive game between the Billings Polar Bears and Barton Springs Blues.
The Barton Springs Blues did just enough to sneak past the Billings Polar Bears, 4-3, at The Igloo. Barton Springs pitcher Felipe López, in particular, had a standout performance. Billings drops to 9-10.
Jason Wilson aided the Barton Springs cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fifth. For the game, the catcher went 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"Felipe just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Barton Springs manager Joe Kehoe.
