The Toledo Saboteurs beat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 3-1, at Toledo Backyard Park. Christian Harris, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Mike Thornton picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-2. He struck out 6 in 8 innings. Roy Crum sewed up the save, his 2nd.

In the bottom of the seventh, Harris put his team in front with his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Javier Gómez, made it 3-1, Toledo.

Harris told a Toledo Citizen reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

The Saboteurs, now 11-6, have been playing some good baseball.
