The Coffin hosted a real pitchers' duel.

The Mancelona Torch went home winners at The Coffin, thanks in large part to starter Pedro Negrón. Negrón stifled the Grim Reapers, enabling Mancelona to grab the 2-1 win. Mancelona is off to a hot start at 2-1.

Mancelona used the clutch hitting of Hicham Picot to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Torch ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Negrón.
