The Crescent City Krewe picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Tacoma Fur Traders, 9-4. On the mound for Crescent City was right-hander Paul Rhodes, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Fur Traders, at 51-47, have lost 4 in a row.

Crescent City used a well-timed hit by Adam Bisset to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Krewe ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Crescent City manager David Martínez.
