Thunder Topple Farmers, 6-4, as Gauthier Shines
A 4-RBI performance from third baseman Jean-François Gauthier, who is tied for 4th in the 3AA in bases on balls with 53, led the St. Petersburg Thunder to a win over the Lancaster Farmers, 6-4. Shusui Suzuki was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 5 of 8 save opportunities. The win puts St. Petersburg at 46-46 this season.

Gauthier had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Thunder went on to win.

"Enjoyed this one," Gauthier told the St. Petersburg Today. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
