Good production from left fielder Rubén Nuañez helped the Hollywood Shredders topple the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 8-0. Nuañez went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Shredders. Hollywood leads the Premier League by 2 games.

In the top of the seventh, Kjartan Einarsson stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Rainbow Mermaids were trailing 7-0, but had the bases loaded. That's when Seong-hyeon Yi made a terrific pitch and Einarsson grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Northern Virginia comeback.
