In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

The Tacoma Fur Traders topped the Lancaster Farmers, 11-1, in M3L Double A action at Ballpark of Tacoma. The standout performance belonged to Tacoma pitcher and Sandalfoot Cove, Florida, native Gabriel García. García, the winner, moves to 3-4. He threw 5.2 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up no walks.

The Fur Traders got a big hit from center fielder Garth Morrison. In the bottom of the fifth, Morrison pounded a grand slam home run to right. His 8th home run of the season put the Fur Traders ahead, 8-0.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Tracy Williams.

Tacoma, at 42-37, holds down third place in the Menard's AA.
