The Lancaster Farmers picked up a win at Sixshooters Stadium, knocking off the Westwood Sixshooters, 2-0. Starting pitcher Andrew Shoemaker was a big reason why. Yefim Vistunov, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities. The win has Lancaster at 27-43.

Bernardo Beltrán dealt the Sixshooters a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Lancaster leading 1-0, Beltrán, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AA with a .629 slugging percentage, hit a 2-0 sinker for a run-scoring single.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Shoemaker told the Lancaster Bulletin.
