Nationals Knock Off Sixshooters at Nationals Park

The Ottawa Nationals defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 7-2, in M3L Double A action at Nationals Park. Ottawa pitcher Tim Simmons had a standout performance. The first-place Nationals have won 4 straight.
The Nationals got a big at-bat from center fielder Greg Erwin. For the game, Erwin went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Ottawa a 5-2 lead.
Erwin called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
