The Casper Ghosts defeated the Asheville Highlanders, 6-4. Doing his part was pinch hitter Chris Norman, who was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Otton Asmus got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 7. Dennis Heath finished the game for Casper and earned his 3rd save.

Norman had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 2-2 curveball from Gil Farrell, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Ghosts a 6-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Norman.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Norman told the Casper Bulletin. "It's as simple as that."

The Highlanders drop to 8-8 and continue their mediocre start to the 2048 season.
