Patriots Knock Off Dirty Reds at Lang Park

Boston and San Mateo duked it out and the Patriots came out victorious.
The San Mateo Dirty Reds got a superb performance from pitcher Eric Colquhoun, but the Boston Patriots still won the game, 6-4. Colquhoun came in in relief and pitched to 19 batters. Boston is 29-40 and San Mateo, with the loss, 26-43.
Alex Williamson, the former first round draft pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Williamson contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the first inning to put Boston up, 2-0.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said San Mateo manager David Dodds. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
