Hollywood Shredders starter Ratko Peric pitched a strong game against the St. Louis Coeur at The BFIB, leading the Shredders to victory, 8-1. Peric got the win, improving to 8-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. Peric allowed 1 run. The victory gives Hollywood a record of 41-23.

Hollywood used the timely hitting of Rubén Nuañez to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Shredders ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Peric said.
