Asheville rode a fine outing from starter Yermolay Olhivsky to victory over the Marquette Miners at Asheville Park. The final score was 4-2. The Highlanders, now 4-1, have stormed out of the gates.

In the top of the ninth, Hyun-soo Yi stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Miners were trailing 4-2, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when Chong-yee Galván made a terrific pitch and Yi struck out. Gone was the dream of a Marquette comeback.
