The Tacoma Fur Traders wiggled past the Westwood Sixshooters, 7-6, at Ballpark of Tacoma. The win was highlighted by the performance of Tacoma pitcher Luis Castillo. The win gives Tacoma a record of 3-1.

The Fur Traders procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Jim Hanson. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hanson.
