Erwan Michel helped his team muscle past the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 8-6. In the game, the Kansas second baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Kansas pitcher Félix Torres got the win, upping his record to 14-6. Ramon Wuilink got the loss. Luis Valdés earned the save for Kansas, his 19th.

Michel made an early impact for Kansas when he stroked his 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Rainbeaus on top, 5-0.
