Riding the 4-hit performance of the 25-year old first baseman Francisco Gallardo, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas stopped the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 6-2. Otis Knapp was the winning pitcher. Over 8 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.
