Norfolk center fielder Norbert King had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. King was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2, even as Hartford beat the Pajaritos, 9-4. The winning pitcher was Dylan Grandjean. He's now 2-1. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Pride. The Pride now own a record of 48-47.

Braxton Cottongame aided the Hartford cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
