Squirrel Monkeys Fall Short, 4-3, at Pennsauken
|
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys got a sterling performance from pitcher Salvador Heredia, but the Pennsauken Flyers still prevailed, 4-3. Heredia threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. King Nelson got the save, the 1st for him this season. At 42-50, Pennsauken is in 9th place in the Silver AAA.
Making an impact for the home team was Enreecko-Edilberto Bibilone. In the bottom of the sixth, the 25-year old third baseman had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. That made the score 4-1, Flyers.
"Feels good to get the job done," Bibilone said after the game.
