Behind a fine performance from Elijah Scott, the Austin Black Mambas knocked off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 7-5. Scott went 2-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Black Mambas. Jody Lewis got the win, improving to 2-4. He held the Red Pandas to 3 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 1. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Austin.

Scott contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Austin in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Scott took a fastball from Michael MacGregor and stroked the home run to right-center. His 17th home run of the season allowed the Black Mambas to leap in front, 2-1.
