The Syracuse Starks beat the Norfolk Pajaritos, 4-2. Syracuse pitcher and Atascadero, California, native Mike Hess led the way. In 6.1 innings, Hess surrendered 1 hit, while striking out 7 and walking 5. He allowed 1 run. Cisco García closed it out for his 4th save.
