Hartford picked up a win at Pride Park, toppling the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 5-3. Pitcher Mark Hogan was one of the reasons the Pride triumphed. Francisco Díaz notched his 18th save in 19 chances. The 5th-place Pride have a record of 39-43.
In the bottom of the seventh, Hartford catcher Sung-hoon Cho had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 3rd and one out, Cho stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 4-3, Hartford. For the game, he went 3 for 4 with 3 singles.
Hogan told a Hartford Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
