With right fielder Brenton Hale leading the charge, the Monongahela Monsters defeated the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 9-6, at Port Huron Park. Hale, who leads the SAAA in total bases with 182, was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The winner was Monongahela reliever Todd Dean, now 5-1. The loser was Joe Allen. The Monsters have now won 7 straight.

Monongahela needed the clutch hitting of Stanley Good to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Monsters on top, 9-6. For the game, Good had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.
