The Port Huron Blitzkrieg topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas by a score of 5-2. Leading the way was catcher Manuel Ortíz. Ortíz belted 2 home runs for the Blitzkrieg. Getting the save was Joe Allen, his 4th. Port Huron is now 36-39, while Sioux Falls is 34-41.

Ortíz had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from Jesús Vidro, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Blitzkrieg a 3-2 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Ortíz.

"We'll savor this win," Ortíz told the Port Huron Bulletin, "then get ready for the next game."
