8-1 Pride Win over Flyers Evens Season Record
Hartford Pride starter Byron McCormick was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Pennsauken Flyers, 8-1. The victory gives Hartford a record of 33-33.

Hartford catcher Barend Huijbregts contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Pride ahead, 5-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Huijbregts said.
