The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys defeated the Forest City Warriors, 8-2, in USSL Triple A action at League Park. Syracuse pitcher Tommaso Cugnoni had a standout performance. The losing streak for Forest City has now reached 6 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Syracuse, had it not been for Jon Huband, the 34-year old center fielder . Huband contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Syracuse up, 5-2.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Huband told the Syracuse Citizen.
