|
Port Huron first baseman Tom Gray picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Austin Black Mambas, 4-3. Port Huron is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Gray hit a fastball from Dave Newman for a solo home run. The Blitzkrieg, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It was a test of wills," said Harrison Blackford, the Port Huron skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
