Warriors Prevail, 3-2, Over Monongahela
|
Starting pitcher Leonardo Sánchez had a solid game. He was a big reason the Forest City Warriors throttled the Monongahela Monsters, 3-2. Kenny McFadden earned save number 4 this season. The win makes Forest City 26-32.
Scott Bissonnette dealt the Monsters a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Forest City trailing 1-0, Bissonnette, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2044 draft, hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run single.
"We'll try to build on that win," Sánchez told the Forest City Chronicle.
