Syracuse used the clutch hitting of Jimbob Ghostkeeper to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Squirrel Monkeys the lead, 4-3. For the game, Ghostkeeper had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
