Blitzkrieg Lose By a Run at Norfolk, 8-7
The Norfolk Pajaritos outlasted Emmett Amavizca and the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 8-7. Amavizca was impressive in the loss. The Port Huron right fielder went 3-5 with 2 home runs. Picking up the win was Jorge Rodríguez. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 12 hits. The right--hander struck out 2 and walked 0. Port Huron has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Norfolk took a 8-6 lead on Ken Jackson's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Jackson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Port Huron pitcher Manny Negrete shaking his head.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Jackson.
