The Forest City Warriors got a stellar performance from pitcher Salvador Sosa, who handcuffed the Pennsauken offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Pennsauken Park. Sosa went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 5-2. Forest City is now 24-28.
Qing-nian Zhai, the 23-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Zhai contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Forest City up, 3-2.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Sosa said after the game.
