Syracuse Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Syracuse Starks overcame a fine performance by Norfolk left fielder Norbert King to defeat the Pajaritos, 8-7, at Stark Stadium. King went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Syracuse reliever Francisco Esposo picked up the win, raising his record to 4-0. Guy Anderson was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Syracuse at 27-22 for the season.

Justin Forbes was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Starks first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We found a way to get it done," Forbes said.
