Harper Leads Warriors to 5-3 Win Over Starks
|
Claude Harper made an impact in the 5-3 Forest City win over Syracuse. Harper went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Kenny McFadden earned the save, his 1st, for the Warriors. Forest City now has a record of 23-23 with the win.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Harper delivered big-time for Forest City, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Zuo-lin Liang. The game-changing hit put the Warriors on top, 5-3.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Harper told the Forest City Chronicle.
