The Monongahela Monsters defeated the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 5-3, in USSL Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest. Monongahela pitcher Gabel Ambrosius had a standout performance. Curt Howard earned the save for Monongahela, his 2nd. With the victory, the Monsters record now stands at 25-17.

Though he did not get the decision, Ambrosius did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7 innings, until Monongahela eventually rallied past the Red Pandas.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Ambrosius.
