Port Huron left fielder Octávio Cruz had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-9, to Forest City at Port Huron Park. Cruz was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Michael Ramsey closed the game out for Forest City, earning his 12th save. The triumph puts Forest City at 19-19 for the season.

Clay Myers, who is tied for 6th in the SAAA in doubles with 9, aided the Forest City cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
