The home crowd had a good time watching the Austin Black Mambas and Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys get after it.

The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Austin Black Mambas, 5-1, in USSL Triple A action at The Zoo in Syracuse. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Princess Quarter, Sint Maarten, native Foeke Reus. Chris Edwards closed the door for Syracuse, picking up his 9th save of the year.

Reus dominated for Syracuse, raising his record to 2-2. Austin hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7.
