The Norfolk Pajaritos defeated the Monongahela Monsters, 4-1, at Norfolk Field. Norfolk center fielder Norbert King had a superb performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Monongahela has now lost 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, King came to the plate. He drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Andrés García to put the Pajaritos in the lead, 1-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said King.
