A good performance from right fielder Brenton Hale helped the Monongahela Monsters defeat the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 6-2. Hale went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times for the Monsters. With the win, Monongahela pushed its record to 14-10.

Monongahela relied on the bat of Sébastien Guillaume to get the win. The first baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Monsters ahead, 1-0. For the game, Guillaume had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.
