Warriors Snatch Late Win

The Forest City Warriors had to overcome a fine performance from Austin pitcher Steve Denton to grab a 3-1 win at League Park. Denton allowed no runs over 7 innings. Michael Ramsey, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. The Warriors raised their record to 11-6.
Octávio Obezo hit a 2-run double off Tadayuki Ito in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Warriors in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Obezo had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Obezo.
