Martin, who is tied for 9th in the SAAA in runs scored with 11, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times. Félix Benítez, credited with the win, is now 2-0. Austin relied on the hitting of Ger Jobse to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Black Mambas on top, 5-4. For the game, Jobse had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Jobse.

With the loss, Forest City falls to 10-6.
