Black Mambas Earn 8-7 Win Versus Flyers
Fans watched the Austin Black Mambas and the Pennsauken Flyers fight to the finish.

Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Jim Bishop, the Pennsauken Flyers lost to the Austin Black Mambas, 8-7. Bishop belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Luis Ramos, now 2-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With Austin trailing 7-6, Ger Jobse hit a fastball from Greg Stengel to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Black Mambas had a walk-off win.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Santiago Rigney.

Pennsauken, now 3-11, continues its tough start.
