Patriots Deal Leviathan 3-2 Defeat
|
The Boston Patriots beat the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 3-2. Boston pitcher and Los Angeles, California, native Glenn Suggett led the way. Alvin Randolph earned the save for Boston, his 2nd. At 22-29, the Patriots claim 8th place in the Premier League.
Boston used the timely hitting of Dídac Nores to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Patriots ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Boston manager Tyler Carter. "Our pregame was pretty good."
