The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys got a strong performance from pitcher José Guerrero, who stymied the Port Huron offense en route to a win, 5-0, at Port Huron Park. The Squirrel Monkeys, now 6-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Okalani Karri had a critical at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for Syracuse. He came through with a 2-run single to put Syracuse in front, 4-0.

Karri told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
