Blitzkrieg Earn 6-5 Win Versus Squirrel Monkeys
A 3-RBI performance from Tom Gray helped the Port Huron Blitzkrieg beat the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 6-5. Dave Parkinson earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Joe Allen got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Gray contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Port Huron get the win.

"Feels good to get the job done," Gray said after the game.

Port Huron goes to 6-2.
