Late Rally by Squirrel Monkeys Secures 7-5 Win
Port Huron got a terrific performance from pitcher Gerardo Justisia, but it wasn't enough to beat the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys. Syracuse won the Port Huron Park contest, 7-5. Justisia threw 7.0 innings of 1-hit ball for the losing team. With the win, Syracuse goes to 5-2.

Syracuse used a timely hit from Jeremy Clifton to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Squirrel Monkeys ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Clifton said later.
