The Norfolk Pajaritos had to overcome a good performance from Syracuse pitcher José Guerrero to claim a 2-0 win at The Zoo in Syracuse. Guerrero went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Syracuse falls to 2-1.
Norfolk used a clutch hit from Adam Lee to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pajaritos ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
Lee called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
