The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes overcame a good performance by Hamilton shortstop Jaicus Saracho to knock off Hamilton, 7-4, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Saracho was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Stephen Hollingsworth earned the save, his 2nd. With the win, Santa Barbara upped its record to 58-41.

Santa Barbara used the timely hitting of Craig Woods to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Golden Cranes ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
