Disaster Get One-Run Win at Tortolita
Port Royal right fielder Esteban Burr picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Tortolita Drummers, 4-3. Chad Yates was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 6 walks and 5 strikeouts. The save went to Eric Corbin, number 1 for him.

Burr contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Port Royal in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Burr took a slider from Apaghana Shachi and stroked the home run to center. His 15th home run of the season allowed the Disaster to leap in front, 4-3.

After the game, Port Royal manager Clint Davis applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The Disaster now have a record of 26-62.
