The home crowd had a good time watching the Milton Dogfish Head and Florida Men get after it.

Florida center fielder Marcus Simmons contributed to his team's 5-0 win over the Milton Dogfish Head. Simmons, who is tied for 9th in the 3AAA in home runs with 16, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Men. Phil Berry, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-2. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and no runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. John Penton collected his 3rd save.

Simmons had a key at-bat for Florida early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and gave Florida an early 2-0 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Simmons.
