Fighting Dachsunds Deal Golden Cranes 5-2 Loss
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds took Santa Barbara pitcher Francisco Díaz's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Crane Field. The final score had Ellenburg getting past the Golden Cranes, 5-2. Díaz went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. The Fighting Dachsunds now have a record of 41-40 with the win over Santa Barbara.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Mark Curry, the 26-year old right fielder ? Curry stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Ellenburg up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
